CHEMICAL ENGINEERING CHALLENGE

Chemical Engineering Challenge requires participants to answer 30 multiple-choice and 20 subjective questions related to chemical engineering based on the event’s theme via ONLINE within 1 hour and 15 minutes. The competition assesses theoretical knowledge and problem-solving skills, as well as the participants’ comprehensive knowledge and time management proficiency.

TECHNICAL CASE STUDY & PRESENTATION

Technical Case Study and Presentation Competition enables participants to analyze and present innovative and practical solutions to a given problem related to the theme of the event. Each team is required to search, study, and select realistic and practical solutions for the given issues, considering both the financial and environmental implications. The team should be able to explain the process in detail to showcase teamwork and research skills.

PLANT DESIGNS

Plant design enables participants to design a sustainable manufacturing plant through detailed report, mass and energy balance calculations and plant layout to be presented through poster and presentation. Participants are encouraged to design an eco-friendly manufacturing plant that complies with sustainability and green technologies, promoting circular economy and environmental-friendly strategies.

TECHNICAL ESSAY

Technical Essay Competition encourages participants to write a 700-1000 words essay that demonstrates the topics relating to the event’s theme. The essay should provide a thorough and insightful critical analysis of the given topic, exploring the nuances of the issue from various perspectives.  The participants should think critically and consistently on the topic given by integrating solid reasoning and well-supported evidence. 

TECHNICAL VIDEO

Technical Video Competition encourages teams to brainstorm creative and innovative ideas on a given engineering issue through chemical engineering skills, showcasing their innovations based on the event’s theme. The idea is presented in a FIVE (5) MINUTES video, demonstrating their originality and critical thinking, as well as video editing skills.

    TECHNICAL INFOGRAPHIC

    Technical Infographic Competition encourages participants to demonstrate their passion for invention, potential for critical analysis, and proficiency with graphic design by creating an infographic highlighting solutions or insights relevant to the theme of the event. 

    TECHNICAL DEBATE

    Technical debate enables participants to analyze complex technical issues, explore various perspectives, and construct well-reasoned arguments based on scientific evidence. This competition requires participants to analyze complex engineering challenges, evaluate different perspectives, and construct well-reasoned arguments through credible data, scientific research and engineering principles.

    ENGINEERING QUIZ CHALLENGE

    Engineering Quiz Challenge requires participants to answer 30 multiple-choice and 20 subjective questions via ONLINE within 1 hour and 15 minutes. Questions tested are related to scientific knowledge, problem-solving abilities, emerging trends, technologies and real-world engineering applications. 

    INNO-VISION CHALLENGE

    Inno-Vision Challenge requires participants to develop innovative solutions on a problem using engineering principles, showcasing their technical and analytical skills. The idea presented by participants is in the form of a PRESENTATION VIDEO of less than FOUR (4) MINUTES, including the problem statement and idea of their respective inventions, demonstrating their originality and critical thinking.
